Brimspur, The Infernal Crossroads
Devils, demons, fallen angels, wraiths, witches, and bogeymen rarely get along. They each occupy their own underworld domains, and when a villainous sort from some other hell intrudes, violence and mayhem are sure to follow. On rare occasions, however, vile creatures may decide they need to have a comparatively peaceful chat with one another on neutral ground. When they do, they head to Brimspur, the dusty town at the crossroads between hells.
This Weird West setting is one part hell, one part rugged frontier town, one part haunted carnival. The aesthetic combines the best and silliest of cowboy stories, adventures into the underworld, and creepy circus vibes. There’s no place quite like Brimspur.

Maps
Brimspur’s map is your quintessential wild west map with one little difference: it’s surrounded by endless flame. At the one end of the crossroads, you’ve got the Brimspur Saloon (complete with multiple floors of disgusting interiors) and the Chapel to the God We All Forgo. Along the main, drag, there a number of fully-furnished interiors, and then the entire Hellcrossing Carnival to the south.
See a show at Malakrim Salt’s Big Top, or ascend the helter skelter and ride down in devilish style. Just… watch yourself. The boundary between Brimspur and other hells can be quite deadly.
We offer a number of variant maps that might slot more easily into your particular underworld cosmology: maybe Brimspur is surrounded by a river of souls, or perhaps just void. Or, instead, play it straight! Whip out a carnival-free version of the town in a realistic desert setting. We want you to run Brimspur your way!
Music
Brimspur’s music is hellish and Western. Crunchy guitars, distant harmonicas, and moody, jangly pianos. We collaborated with musical duo Crooked Worlds to really hone that Western sound on our track “Damned and Dusty,” a fan favorite. We also provide a few creepy carnival tracks so that you can lean into the awful circus aesthetic in the southern end of the map.
